Thomas J. Keating joined the O’Brien-Calio partnership in 1999, with over 13 years of service in the House of Representatives in the Office of Sergeant at Arms. His last position as Director of Police Services put him at the center of all major events on Capitol Hill and in Washington, D.C. He helped coordinate the last three Presidential Inaugurations, over 20 Presidential Addresses to Congress, two State funerals, and 13 organizational caucuses for newly elected Members of the House.  

In 1994, Mr. Keating was issued Top Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense and the Central Intelligence Agency. He has been named one of the “Fabulous Fifty,” the top fifty staff people on Capitol Hill by Roll Call newspaper. The Roll Call article reported that Mr. Keating had both “political clout” and “access to the Leadership.”

He has been recognized for outstanding service by the United States Capitol Police, the United States Secret Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and numerous police and civic organizations.

Mr. Keating received the prestigious Chapel of the Chaplain Award in 1994 for outstanding government service. He played a key role at both Democratic and Republican Conventions from 1988 -1996.
